Can't see direct communication

me and my friend were in the side channel talking and we decided to talk in direct communication, i wasn't getting anything from him

he asked me in the side channel if i saw his direct communication i said no. I have no idea how to fix this.

Please help.

You know you posted this four times?

Anyway, have you checked your mic is working properly? Also, make sure you know which button to press for direct comms, it may differ from other channels. I've never had a problem with this personally so I'm not sure I can offer much more help. Perhaps running Arma 2 as administrator may work, since that often works with Ventrilo and other voice programs.
