Heli crashes, Are they even rarer?

After a server restart a friend and I flew around for over an hour searching for heli crashes. We couldn't find a single one.

We went to most of the spawn locations listen in the map below, but still had no luck. Are they even rarer spawning now, or did we just have some really bad luck?

Edit: In the previous 1.7.2.4 and 1.7.2.5 I had no problems finding heli crashes, I would find about one or two each scheduled restart.

I am constantly running through where it says they will spawn, but still nothing. I've only ever found 4, never found anything worthwhile.

Crashed choppers can spawn ANYWHERE that is NOT a built up area or forrest. No map will have said spawn points when they exist any where. Stop using a map and just cruise the open fields.

Well maybe It's just me being unlucky. I guess next time I log on I'll drive around and see if I can find one. I'll post back here if I do or not.

I am thinking it is random. There have been times my clan was fanned out 15 strong in all 4 corners and found nothing in 2 hours of searching and then on a fresh restart poof all 3 are there. All we can figure is its either random now or there is a bug like the restart bug where vehicles and tents vanish. EDIT: You you are running on a home sever like myself so restart that bitch,if you are hopping servers and finding nothing then you are just having bad luck.

Flying in a heli across almost the entire map, just about every open field and nothing. I used the map but still traveled over a huge area going from place to place. I figured I would have seen one.
