Server restart - tent&vehicles

Quick question: I have rented a server (virtual machine) hosted by multiplay.co.uk. Each time server restarts for various reasons (like "too much memory used for one player", etc) we lose all tents and eventually a vehicle if we have managed to find and start to repare one. Is that normal? or the restart in general should wipe everything not stored in inventory or a backpack? If this is normal I have no point to look for vehicles or store things, etc. lol

It is possible the host did not upgrade to the latest Hive file version/beta/dayz patch to fix the inventory saving. You should get in touch with them to make sure they are running the latest Hive and DayZ / Arma 2 beta versions.
