Ban appeal; US 3040 ; DayZ RangerZ

Never posted for a ban appeal before, in any game, due to not being the kind to cause issues. However, tonight 9/7/12 at around 9:30PM EDT I was banned by the admin of US 3040 DayZ Rangerz hosted by SurvivalServers.com for "Vehicle Creation". I think I know the issue but I have no way of contacting the admin ([DRZ] Maximus?) to attempt to get an appeal.

Potential issue:

Friend and I were fixing up a vehicle and I had just put a tire on it, as I went to get our scrap metal I lagged out. After several attempts of apparent "kicked from game" messages (was being broadcast via chat according to friend) I finally logged in and suddenly got a message saying:

You were kicked off the game. (BattlEye: Admin Ban (Vehicle Creation))

I noticed in my gear right before that I had a tire again. I am guessing it lagged and thought I "created" a tire because I had already used it but still had one. I didn't "create" a tire, but I can see how it thought I did.

If I was really a person able to "create vehicles" and things of that sort I likely wouldn't have been so nice as to let you all fly away with a perfect Heli while we spent hours fixing 2 vehicles, would I? You all scared the hell out of us while you were refueling that Heli btw. :P

With any luck someone knows how to contact the admin of the server, or the admin sees this. Would love to get back to what little gear we had on the vehicles.

Hey bud don't sweat it, with all the rampant hacking we are just trying to make sure our server stays clean and remain an enjoyable experience for all who join. I will post in server message for a way to get a hold of admin as well for future reference. As for you my friend I will remove ban and I hope you still can enjoy us 3040 as a home server. Bit late now ^^ lost our UAZ and Pick Up truck with guns in them.. :/ but thanks anyway bud.

Edit: thinking about it we may take up your offer, i quite liked your server, you seem to be an alright group that PROBABLY wouldn't kill me on site, like we didn't kill you and take your heli ;) haha

Been such a hectic past few days with fixing and losing about 10 vehicles (never trust Anarchy to drive on a beach btw) now it'll just be nice to find a relable server with good admins. :)

I'm fine with finding/fixing another vehicle but certainly a Big Thanks for your offer ya mentioned. :thumbsup:

Haha, i flipped ONE uaz on the beach, my bad.. but who flipped an ATV within 5 seconds? ;)

LOl yeah it probably would have been better that you tried to take the helicopter. We ran into a player using an auto-aim bot and he shot us down. Heli is gone =( but we are not the type to pull a server reset on something like that. It's DayZ. You win some you lose some. Hope to see you guys back soon!

Haha well, i noticed one of you in a hero suit (by the looks, we was around 900m away) and i won't shoot on my own kind (me and X are both heroes ;) )

We'll be heading into your server today tho most likely bud, try and rebuild our stuff back up :)

Please let me know if Xcelsior has any issue getting in. I had an admin update for the server and no longer see his GUID in ban list. As far as your vehicle is concerned I can no longer make promises as we saw another group come in and fix it up. We will keep an eye out for a spare vehicle for you though. We are all heroes, however in recent time we have been leaning towards a more shoot on sight approach as we have been killed to many times for trying to help :( . I spoke to him about 6 hours ago and he was still banned, as for vehicle we had both a UAZ and a Pick Up truck, both of them taken? :( sucks.. I might try refind my Ural though, if it already hasn't been haha

Whats the saving like in your server by the way? i haven't had much luck recently saving my vehicles and tents :/

Yeah, i know how you feel - im leaning to a shoot on sight type of play style as of recent, keep getting killed in the process of screaming friendly gets old quick ;)

Now to just find a vehicle to fix up again, leggin' it can be a bit tiresome.

No need for thanks. If anything I should be thanking you guys. It's players like you that makes running a server worth it. As far as vehicles we have been having a couple hicups with tents/vehicles not loading in where they should be. However I have always been able to fix these problems QUICKLY and since the new patch we have not experienced any loss of equipment/vehicles.I hope that your issue was an isolated event and if it wasn't please do let me know so that I can make a note of it to the server rep.Thanks for your patience guys and I hope to see you again in US 3040.
