Do bandits put people off the game?

Dupers/hackers are what annoy me the most. not 40 minutes ago I got killed by what seemed to be 4 AS 50's firing down on me from cherno factory. Why don't they play the game properly >:(

Bandits make the game fun and challenging, dupers are the worst!

I imagine the types of gamers who only frequent low-number-of-player servers would be most turned off by bandits, but then those types of players really aren't who DayZ Mod is for (they could, after all, just keep playing Arma II with groups of people against computer-generated enemies).

Case in point - I entered a server with only three or four people on it tonight just to re-gear up and escape Elektro. Instead I end up being in exactly the right place, and at the right time, to ambush some guy's, or team's, possibly hours-long work in getting the bus in Elektro running. The driver probably had the thing running and sort of moving for a total of 20 seconds when I popped out and blasted him out of the bus (dead). So then now I had a bus, and the guy who built it logged off (hopefully only for the night). I had zero zombie kills, next to no real kit at all save for two guns I found, yet I had a bus with no real work of my own.

Bandits make the game fun, Dupers not so much. And of course Hackers are the worse, they don't care if your a bandit or Hero they will teleport or insta-kill you for whatever Hackers hack for.

The biggest put off in my opinion is from the the people who just shoot on site. Even hero's (yes there are two of us lurking in your forums). Because when your new to DayZ looking for help and some guy just mows you down as soon as you spawn. It gets old. I know I spent my first hour of DayZ being gunned down in Cherno, Elektro then Balota. After that I just avoided everybody till I got some friends. Game Completely changes when you finally start rolling with a crowd.
