I've been playing Arma 2 for 2 years now so I have a lot of experience in tactical combat and as well as the game mechanics. Having Arma II experience (which I do have...and I can attest...my other friends that I started playing with...got as good as I was in a matter of weeks.) Doesn't mean you'll be better at DayZ than someone who joined just for the mod.It's also weird that most of the Arma ii "vets" are from the netherlands. that's possibly unrelated, just an observation. Plaguetongue 47 Posted September 8, 2012 being a veteran means nothing in DayZ when a new player sneak up behind and pump you with a makarov, or you get your head blown off from 500 meters by a sniper.ARMA2 exp means nothing, what you need is DayZ experience to know where ppl usually are, hotspots, where to find loot etc, but not even that will help you out that much. and my crew is all RL friends or ppl i knew for long, and ofc 20+ (nn any kids) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm now in Dean Halls ArmA group because I played with a bunch of people from USEC once. They are extremely good at the game. No one kills them, ever.
