Texture ripping, 'CABuildingParts' and 'Bad Version'

Okay. I just bought the game for me and a friend today, we followed the installation guide and both of us became confused then things gone up in the air.

The game boots up fine through Steam for the most part. Yet I get an error message saying that the DayZ mod requires Addon 'CABuildingParts'.

I have no idea what in the hell that is. So then I tried doing the Six Launcher method, that pops up with "Bad serial". ¬¬

Even with these two issues. I have a graphical error. The textures seem to enjoy glitching and going utter ape-shit an I have no idea how to fix it.

got the same error mesages , but it worked just fine for me,

ive updated my client now to 1.7.1 with that worrom updater and if want to join a server it says "bad version" -.-

have you tried joining an arma II server to see if its localized to your install or to DayZ itself ?
