Mixed Installation Beta Problems

I have a Steam Copy of ARMA 2, and a non-steam digital copy of ARMA 2: OA. I merged the OA files into my Arma 2 steam directory in order to get mods to work in the past.

Now all BETA downloads that I have found, are an auto installer. These installers will not install because they can't find the OA folder in it's normal spot.

Is there a way to redirect the installers? They don't give you the option to choose install path. Or is there a manual install out there somewhere?
