Not sure if I found a hacker/bandit camp.

Ok so I was just server UK278. I spawned in Elektro and went to the firestation (the one by the power plant). When I got there The whole place was barricaded up with barbed wire and sandbags and tank traps. I went prone when I noticed a bandit looking at me. I was typing friendly in the direct chat. Before I could send the message he started shooting at me. Lucky he missed me and I managed to take him out.

Am not sure if this guy was guarding the place or looting it. Anyhow I could not get in to the place until I noticed a whole in the wall I could crawl under. So I got in and there was about 20 tents in there. All lined up outside and some inside. So I had a look inside but surprisingly there was no rare weapons but there was plenty of ammo and food. I did notice in 1 tent had pistols in there. One was a Makarov SD and a PDW SD. I have never seen these weapons in DayZ before so am guessing these might be hacked in? I never took them as I went for the M9 SD and ammo :lol:.

So anyhow if you need ammo go to UK server 278 and go nuts looting :P. I know this might be a bit of a arse thing to do. But who ever these guys are there blocking of the firestation so no one else can go in so screw them haha.

Makarov SD is hacked in I think, never saw it, dunno about the PDW SD though, I think its hacked too but not 100% sure...

I wouldn't feel right using hacked in weapons. But the M9 SD is not a hacked weapon so I had no problem taking that and about 8 mags of ammo for it lol.

It was in the game yonks ago. It was removed from the spawn lists a while back so it is around a 90% chance that if you see one it was hacked in.

A lot of people seem to have them regardless.

AS50 TWS is the best weapon not in the game...

It's good for spotting and night sniping but its effective range is lower than the AS50s by virtue of its shitty sight (despite its rocking scope).

If he was a bandit, why would you do something so silly as try to type friendly at him? Nobody cares if you're "friendly".

Nobody is going to go check out the camp anyways, this is precisely what bored bandits do to lure people into ambushes.

I have a bandit skin and am friendly. I want to try and help anyone I fined. I give everyone I run into a fair chance. Just because they have a bandit skin on does not mean they shoot on site.
