Problem updating to 1.7.2.6

I deleted the old .pbo files and added in the new .pbo files and downloaded the new beta but when i try to join the server it says that its running an outdated version. Any ideas on what ive done wrong or what steps ive missed?

Uhh, check server version before you join a server. Dayz Commander server statics 60% are using old 1.7.2.5 and 20% 1.7.2.6

DayzCommander says current version is 1.7.2.6 and 1.62.96585

Play withSIX supports both the old and the new version and will tell you in the server browser if the server is running equal or different version.

To switch between the versions, check or uncheck "Update to PreRelease versions" in the Game Browser settings section (click the ARMA2 logo).

I mean updating the server side. I have updated everything on the server side and it still isnt up to date.

My client side is updated to 1.7.2.6 but i am trying to update my server to that version. It says on DayZ Commander that it is that version but when i join i am stuck at a black screen that says the server is running an out of date version.

Play with Six is a piece of crap that uses the INTERNET Explorer API for all it's functionality - exposing you to all sorts of security vulnerabilities.
