I’m currently building one of these IRL.

Made from scrap and completely self-powered; easy to construct but devilish to operate.

Some of the components are already available in DayZ; sourcing them would not be an issue.

The challenge would be finding the best places to use the device (elevation; interference; using wire fences as antennae, etc) and fine tuning it to pick up whatever signals are still active in Chernarus.

Perhaps a suitable reward could be finding pre-recorded Morse Code signals that broadcast coordinates to valuable caches.

Wonderful idea it's simple an i think could have good use in the game. morse code would be a bitch but hey! it works :D
