Buying a server, (Need Help)

I am planning on buying a server, my own server, but I do not know anything about it. There are reasons i'm planning on buying one, but its personal and my friends are planning on helping. So i'm looking for a server which can run fast and smooth. I live in California, Napa. And I like to have a server that can run fast and smooth where I live and in Florida if its possible. I like one that can be cheap or somewhat worth the price, fast update, 24/7 support, easy to set up. I know most aren't fast doing those, but I like one that can be decent.. Anyways, can anyone suggest me some? By the way, I was thinking HFB servers. Is that a good option?
