(don't lie to yourself it is the only legit activity to do once you have gotten supplies. Mainly cause zombies are infinite and therefore no reason to hunt them. And just "surviving" is literally a waste of time since it becomes aimless wandering eventually, or just going from point A to B 50 times. Plus you will eventually come across other people and they will then try to kill you cause you will have nice stuff)

Have the creators of this mod said what they want the end product to be exactly..?

I heard they want to make all buildings enterable (which would be great) and also make the map bigger (WTF) and have everyone on one world (server) which is a god awful idea (at least with how people are now) cause of the whole "i kill than wonder if you were going to shoot first" The only way i see thousands of people playing on the same map is if some kind of settlement/economic system is created or some major form of cooperation.

Anyway it just sounds like their skipping some steps...or have i just missed some announcements?

yes rocket hinted at more stuff to do that cooperative based, what this is and how it will work is anyones guess (outside the dev team) so we have to sit and wait to see what he has planned. Which will probably take months of work.

BTW have you tried collecting vehicles? seems like a reasonable thing to do if you don't want to participate in the coastal bean wars.

Apparently the first people to find them can just hide them and keep them...which is stupid there needs to be a lot more cars i mean with this repair system i see no reason to not have a lot of vehicles its not like it makes the game easier it just makes it less time consuming....

I think they took them out multiple times too cause there was a resent "reinitialization" of ground vehicles? I assumed that meant they were put back in or something or reset but even then i haven't seen a single one

I would have to agree on the vehicle situation. Doesn't seem realistic to me that there aren't more cars, trucks, motorcycles, bikes around. In fact there should be plenty of them, intact and not in need of repair. Maybe out of gas, but not not needing "engine parts" or "scrap metal".

mainly dallas,chicago and ya i know i went to a canada server...ya it had dead bodies everywhere and weird amounts of loot...i think it was bugged but there were some servers ive seen A vehicle

FYI getting off topic this is about any news of activities or objectives...i just don't understand why the rocket guy would announce plans for a bigger map and single world (far away plans) instead of easier more important things (activities to do)

There is more to do; what the game needs is not more "goals" but more mechanics that lead to more player-defined goals.

This is still a mod so only expect new features and content. Don't expect a huge game redesign that gives a intriguing end game.

Leave that to when DayZ goes standalone MC style or is apart of ARMA3.

It is strange how people get stupid on the Internet, and to imply that Left 4 Dead is somehow a bad game. Left 4 Dead is awesome! Playing, or just liking, this game doesn't make you somehow better than those playing other games.

well i dont think it needs more cwrs it needs more co operation between players to find them, its simple, the more friends in your group to search the more chance youll have at finding a car if you split up and look. brings me o to another poi t quickly if people were co operative thered be no limits as to what you could set up in the game, thats the beauty of it, id loce to set it up so that there was a safe ahop to trade and am trying to in a specific server. again not bsgging on the way people lik to play.
