Spawning in water, rather than where i last left off

I started a new character yesterday and played it for a couple of hours building up my loot, and i decided to log out and find another server due to server lag. when i joined the other server, i had spawned deep in the ocean and without any of my gear. This also happened for the next character that i started. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so has anyone found out a way to avoid spawning in the water and actually spawn where you logged off?

lots of server hoping can cause it, other times it can happen randomly.

noway out of the water i dont think i could be wrong tho.

Ive just spawned in the wilderness at the pre deployment area and have to run for 2hours just to get back on the map, atleast its not the water tho.

Ive spawned in the debug forrest before, and disconnected re connected and it put me back where i was. This time tho after many attempts doing that i seemed to be stuck in pre deploy area :S

Which isnt good cos it happens to other people aswell and they just shoot you before u load !

This happened once again!!! 3rd time in 2 days. And it always happens when i have great gear.... this is getting really aggrivating!
