Question about the beta patch

Okay, so I decided to use sixupdater, and I think I somehow bumbled my way through to getting the beta update to work.

I can get into the beta only servers now, but I just want to make sure that that means I somehow did it right...

I have the Steam version of the game, if that matters/helps at all.

I think if you can't use sidechat and direct works properly then you have done it right. That is if you are talking about the arma 2 beta patch and not just the newer Dayz patch.

Yeah, I'm talking about the Arma2 patch. The one that'll be required for 1.7.1
