gambles 234 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) I've been playing for a little over 2 months now. Love the game, having a great time most of the time minus the rampant hacking. What does disappoint me a little is that people point out that alpha isn't for fixing bug it's for adding new features, that's why bugs usually aren't fixed in a reasonable time frame even small ones. But in the 2 and a half months I have been playing I haven't really seen any "WOW!" features added yet, and by the way people talk it really hasn't changed that much. Just some tweaking now and then, some people don't like the new stuff, other people do > lalala. Commence arguing.I guess dogs coming in .3 is going to be a big alpha feature added but with an unannounced release date and the fact that they really just hunt animals for you and are gunna be shot and trolled by every bandit this side of cherno, I'm just not too thrilled for it. Although I am very excited for standalone and I do enjoy the game for what it is now (again, minus the insane amount of scripters and cheaters). Deetwo 69 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) I started playing DayZ only about 2 months ago, so I have no idea how the old DayZ worked. However, I have heard of mythical tales of the old DayZ, where hackers were non-existent (even on high pop servers) and unicorns would trample down any duplication tents it would see.Are these tales true?
