trying to run beta 1.7

Hi guys,

Im having trouble getting the beta patch to work and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem as me and has solved it?

Basically I got the dayz mod working fine and can play on 1.6 servers, but after installing the beta patch (Build_93666) I still recieve the message ingame: "You are running an incorrect version of DAYZ_CODE..... (you are running version 1.6.0.1 and the server is running version 1.7.0)

Even though on the front menu screen it says in top right corner:

ArmA 2

beta

expansion

@dayZ

Any ideas what I have done wrong?

Yep, you've simply got the wrong Day Z files. Note that the Beta-patch for ArmA 2 (1.6.39666) is only for ArmA 2, not for Day Z (which would be 1.7 - not beta).

I'd recommend the installation tool of "worrom" (simply google that) to you - it works fast, simple and will keep you up to date.
