Lose All items when rejoining at later time

I thought maybe I was unlucky once or twice, but when I quit a game for the night and come back (same server even) everything in my pack is gone and whatever gun I had equipped has no ammo. This is a major buzzkill every time I start playing =(

go to were you DC'ed and your body with everything should still be there..

I spawn in the same spot with the same weapon, just nothing in my pack and no ammo.
