Couple of questions regarding sandbag barriers. I'll get to the point:

1) Can they be taken down? If so, how? Some prick set them up in front of all the tents at stary sobor so nobody could get in. I could see a perfectly good M4A1 CCO SD that was just out of reach. I figured an attempt at vaulting over it would result in smashed skull on the rock hard canvass of the tent.

2) how do you build them? I'm seeing more and more barriers built, and i had an entrenching tool. But no idea how to actually make the barricade. Explain?

1)if u have an entrenching tool, a 'remove bag fence' will appear and it wouldn't be hard like the wires :)

Can't think of other way of removing it unless u have a pipe bomb. i once tried smashing it with a car 110km/h and my car flew away with bag fence intact XD

2)if u already have an entrenching tool, u just need a sandbag now. get a sandbag, go to inven and right click-press 'create bag fence'

Where can you loot sand bags from?

probably military buildings.

I did found them a lot in deer stands.

I've never found sandbags in any 1.7 server, and only a couple of entrenching tools. The tool wouldnt allow me to remove the barrier.

Only found two wire fence rolls in 1.7, too.

you can vault sandbags, entrenching tool takes them down as well, sounds like very well placed if vaulting them kills you though, and also a bug, haha, that sucks

After creating a wall of either type can you upgrade it to tier 2 or 3 at all, if indeed there are such things?

I ask this as a message comes up with the wire fences saying that I created a tier 1 fence every time, but cannot seem to upgrade them in any way, with or without an entrenching tool.

It of course would be nice to create some of those bigger square "cason" sand walls, like the ones in or around bases and the three rolls of interlocking wire fence too.

I'm coming to the same conclusion as nothing seems to work.

Also, putting them on anything other than the ground (not in buildings or on anything else) seems to allow the zeds through from what I've seen. Here's hoping the 1.7.1 update and/or the Arma 2 beta patch sorts this out as it's related to the walking through walls problem...
