Secrets 9 Posted September 5, 2012 Hey guys a quick one,We've got our server set up how we want it etc it's been brilliant for days but we're thinking about updating our BETA patch on our next restart as it's currently out of date quite a bit, we know it isn't crucial for the server to run but it's nice to try and keep ontop of everything.Just to make it simple its [1.7.2.5/(ARMA PATCH NUMBER)] what we are looking to update.Any help? We can't find a tutorial or anything anywhere.Cheers, Ash.
st3reo 12 Posted September 5, 2012 copy latest beta from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php , install on server, change beta version in server name (from config) = you're done.
Secrets 9 Posted September 5, 2012 Our server is managed, can we do that or does our host have to fullfil this update?
SystemiK 366 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) Our server is managed, can we do that or does our host have to fullfil this update? My server (managed) has a simple interface where you simply click uninstall / install on whatever version you want to change. Only takes a few seconds to change beta, etc. The server name is also automatically updated to reflect version. Not sure how others work though.
