Looking for locked server to get my pve on

Whats up dayz community? I am a lone body/small group player. I work my nails off trying to find a working 0/50 server every time I wish to play dayz. And every time, after 30-45 minutes of me having the time of my life in my own little world, some guy joins in. It upsets me because I worked hard alt+ctrl+del and alt+f4ing out of countless unworking servers to find my diamond in the rough and these scrubs just get to join in after all my work of finding an extremely low pop server. Theyre sharks. Granted it isnt my server, I'm looking for a passworded server preferrably a clan server that will let me play on/possibly join up in their ranks. Let me know if this interests you @ all. Id be willing to throw down on server costs as well. If you dont like me, change the password and were good. I'd never fire on or at one of your guys and I hope the respect is mutual. Thanks!

Your in the wrong game son it's a pve and pvp game, the problem with what your suggesting is you can just go loot at will with no threat from bandits which defeats the whole mechanics of the game. Maybe when rocket makes the standalone he'll include a single player version completely separate from the multi-player.

As it stands this is multiplayer and as such you have to play with people, there is good reason why Rocket wished the game to be open and the rules for server owners forbids them from locking the server to other players, now private hive servers is a different matter as you can not carry over your loot to the main hive servers so it's fine in this situation.

Suck it up team up and enjoy, although I have stopped playing until the standalone.

Hmm.... aren't Private servers still against the ToS, or with the standalone coming out have the rules relaxed a bit? I remember server you describe being blacklisted from the Hive etc, and for good reason.

Whats to stop you from gearing up to the max and making a base on a pvt server, then going to a public server to ruin other peoples game. And if you die you can just pop into your private server to gear up again.

I know YOU may not be thinking of doing this and may genuinely be sick of the get killed always gameplay that is dominating this mod but I wish you the best of luck.

I believe what he means by private server, would be servers that are only connected to their own separate hive and not the main hive that's maintained by the DayZ staff.

In any case, there are plenty of other legitimate reasons for the need to only play on a locked server other than being sick of getting killed by bandits (rampant hacking/alt f4's/dupers/the list is endless).
