Lag/Low FPS

Recommended Posts

I don't get what is happening. Sometimes, my favourite servers are running perfectly, but others when Iog on it's laggy (even though I have a low ping) and I have incredibly low FPS. Why is this? I'm running the same OA and Dayz versions as the servers. :S

It depends where you are on the map. Ex: If you're in the woods, or right in the middle of Elektro.

Hope this helps!

I would think its the servers themselves. When they were last rebooted and also of course the specs behind the servers. Ram ect..

I have to +1 the server issue. The longer it has been running the worse my fps are.

Yesterday I joined a server and barely made it past 12 fps and usually dipped below 5 at certain points. "Restart in 5 minutes" was announced in the bottom left. The server restarted and I rejoined it. 50 fps in the same spot on the map, same time of the day, even after all the other players joined again. Only difference was that the server was freshly rebooted.

Others were playing fine (sidechat was enabled) while I had extremely low fps tho, which makes the problem all the more weird.
