Having trouble finding a single vehicle

Anyone else having this problem? ive checked almost all the major spawn points (stary, berezino, gorka, NE airstrip ect) in a few different servers and i cant find a car/bus anywhere. where am i going wrong?

Try a less popular server or check the western/northern map borders; people tend to hoard found vehicles there

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who choose to use vehicles as tents. Not only that but they also hoard them for themselves if they are a group larger than 2 or 3. Basic pattern is to find something easy to get around on, I.E. Bikes, Motorcycles, ATVs, and find as many other vehicles as possible. Fix them all. Hide them in a hole somewhere and never actually use them.

Now, nobody gets to enjoy a vehicle.

Seriously, though, I've had this issue on smaller servers as well. I chalk it up to bad luck, wrong place wrong time type thing. Also, check to see if the spawn map you are checking is current.

You're not missing out on anything. In a vehicle you are just a sitting target for any Johnny within range. Not to mention the myriad ways to injure / kill yourself by crashing or glitching (and this being a military FPS you can imagine how the vehicles handle).

If I see a hoarded vehicle I blow it up with a frag grenade so that someone else potentially more worthy has the chance to use it when it respawns. But that probably doesn't work in 1.7.2.5 anymore, so i'm probably just wasting grenades.

I know there are a lot of spawn points for vehicles that aren't on the online maps so it may be that the popular ones are being hoarded and you haven't yet found the others.
