Hi guys! :)

I am here to talk to ou about something that i think that would be cool to have on DayZ,wel here it is.

Wat about if wen a player dies,his body turns in to a zombie be the virús infected his body and he becomes a zombie.

He dies and makes new caracter he doesn't start playing the game like a zombie.

Cool right? ;)

Yup, its been discussed at length. Also Rocket has ruled out wanting players to play as zombies.

Even better would be getting bitten, then having 24 hours to find the extremely rare cure at a military base or you die.

A useless feature to me, tbh. Then just shoot the zombie once it mutates, no problem, only one bullet wasted and the possibility of aggroing others.

Well this is kind of in already. You can contract the virus, and you need antibiotics to cure yourself (these are found in hospitals but are very very rare).

But it only drops your blood to 6000, and no 24 hr timeframe. Personally, I think it should kill you.

What? I thought the coughing came from being cold and getting the flu...

If it is in then it definitely needs changing to what I suggested. Imagine having no NVG's at night, dying from the zombie virus, blood almost gone and running into Cherno full pelt to try and reach the hospital. Classic DayZ moment.

I agree that it would turn the game more into a left for dead or game like that but surely the virus has someway of spreading onto humans explaining the zombies unless there from mars or something.

Rocket said the survivors might be immune to the virus thus why they survived in the first place. He's currently developing the specifics with his firend who's a virologist for the equivilant of the CDC in New Zealand.

There is one way they good do this with out affecting the game to much if a player is killed by zombies or is cause to bleed by zombies then dies then the players body turns into one that acts like a computer zombie the player doesn't control it they just start again as if they had died on this mod cause we all know that on zombie films a stuff its not the same mind controlling the human as the zombie. Just imagine if you were friendly an all you see is what you think is a player standing there an you don't know if its a zombie or a player.
