Lag help

Can anyone give me tips on reducing lag? I have 35b ram 1.86ghz 250gb hdd. I should be able to play Dayz shouldn't I? I just completely set my computer back to factory settings yesterday, so this is basically the only thing I have downloaded. I play my laptop right next to my router. I lag so bad that the ground around my character is white. Every time i'm moving it's extremely jerky. All tips are well appreciated! <3

Does ur lag look like stop motion lag or input lag? Or u felt tat it was ur network connection goin unwell?

Buy another computer; a desktop computer. Laptops are not the way to play games.

Also, you can check all your other important information about your system by typing dxdiag into run.
