retrying to authenticate with 1.7

Recommended Posts

When i try and enter a server running 1.7 (and I have updated to 1.7 Dayz code) I am stuck on 'Retrying to Authenticate'. No problem on 1.6.0.1 servers. I know a few people have this issue. All my clan mates can get in to 1.7 no problem. Any advice?

I am not running Beta Arma II, just vanilla Arma II.

I was playing yesterday, launching game with CO shortcut. No problems. Later at night started getting 'Retrying to Authenticate'.

Ran the DayZUpdater to update and launch the game, got right into a server. Slight problem though, My Teamspeak overlay and mouse binds did not work.

Seems that if you get the 'Retrying to Authenticate' message, try launching game from the DayZUpdater.

you don't necessarily have to boot from the updater... just exit the program and restart... worked for me.
