Question about tents in 1.7.2.4?

Do you have to place a tent, wait for a restart, THEN put your items in it? Or can you just throw all your shit into it immediatly and it will save?

Bit confused, have had mixed results.

I just tested this earlier today on my 1.7.2.4 server. I placed a new tent, put a can of coke in and saved tent, then rebooted the server (all in the space of about 5 minutes). The tent and coke both saved properly. Then again considering how buggy tents in general have been, there are no guarantees. Sometimes a server will fail to spawn all the vehicles and tents at all and they will be missing until the next restart. Sometimes (rarely), the tent you placed just never comes back at all. It's kind of luck of the draw at this point.

If you are dealing with very important items, I do recommend placing the tent and waiting for a reboot before you put anything valuable in, but as I demonstrated above, this is not always necessary.

Is your server public? I'm trying to find more 1.7.2.4 servers (Ones that won't shut down lol)

Dallas 2507. Almost no one plays since everyone is running 1.7.2.5 but you are welcome there...
