To the guy who killed me, congratulations you are the first person who has killed me that was not a zombie, i had a great rifle and pistol full up on ammo all the tools i could use i only came into town to get a map and hunting knife, it was real nice of use to sneak up behind me and shoot me in the back of the head, i wasn't greedy or anything i wasn't taking anything i didn't need i was taking a rest eating and getting my blood back up, and i really just want to say F U JACKASS THIS WAS A NO PVP SERVER! (DE2257) you are lucky i didn't catch your name, but i hope someone else does get you back for that i thought there were some people who didnt just shoot anyone they saw, i thought i was safe ty for teaching me i can't trust anyone.

I feel your pain but coming in here and venting is not proper I don't believe.

EVERY TIME I HAVE GEARED UP IN CHERNO/ELECTRO I have met a quick end at some hack or some leet-squad sniper outfit who relishes pumping led into noobs from ~1,000m's out is more fun that fighting equally equipped opponents.

So I'm with you on your sentiment OP but not in the location in which you elected to vent! ;)

of course they're players out there that don't shoot you on sight like I usually don't trust other players even though they are friendly so if a player wants to join us I say no sorry the only thing I would do is trade or assist them in self defence I have a hero's skin so hopefully players will think twice before shooting and there are players that are complete bandits that just KOS you to get more murders, to get their humanity down either way now you know not to trust people you don't know and honestly just because its a NO PVP server doesn't mean your not going to run into griefers, and trolls for christ sakes its the internet its actually your fault for letting you guard down listen to footsteps

There are such things as no PvP servers. Private hives can enforce that rule and those who dont follow it are able to be banned, same as servers that say in the side messages 'No alt f4 or ghosting or ban' its perfectly legitimate to ban people for alt f4 and ghosting from a server even connected to the hive.

I have been on no PvP servers to find gear and ive seen groups of bandits join.....and then get kicked for the first person they murder

Those kind of servers are for newbies learning the game, or gathering gear without fear of getting shot if its connected to the hive

No such thing as a no-PvP server. Doesn't matter if it's a rule or not, you can't run around like an idiot there because banning the person who shot you after the fact won't bring you back to life.

I have a hard time understanding how so many people can suck this hard at this game... then I go out and watch all the stupid crap people do in the real world, and I remember why again...
