Searching Tool for fast connection to a server

Recommended Posts

Hello,

is there a tool with which I can quickly join to a server I found on the internet? I have seen such tools for other games and as there are some good overviews on this and other websites which shows me some server at my region it would be great to directly join them.

Thanks alot for your hints.

Sure, it's called 'Arma II'. All you do is start it up, click 'Multiplayer' and it brings you hundreds of DayZ servers! Then all you do is click the one you want.

Yeah, thanks alot. The hundreds are the problem. Maybe I only want to join servers in my region. And as the countrycodes are just two letters it would be difficult to find only those servers with the filter...

I wonder if you mean this?

Once on the multiplayer screen, click filter at the bottom and type "dayz" into the "mission" box. That should help (I also filter out full servers, and those >100 ping).

Not really, actually.

Click on "ping" in the server browser. It will sort the servers by ping lowest to highest. And if you know the server name, just type it in the filter. The server browser should bring it up.

I think you´re searching for HLSW , but keep in mind, if you start your game when you see 35/40 players in HLSW, it takes some time.

If you search through the Arma2 browser, you´re allready in.
