ok ive been launching dayz off the steam website.... is it possible for me to get dayzcommander and start launching the mod off that since its so much easier?

Yes. go to settings in dayz command, and check launch game and close commander after launch. :D thank me later

Dude, he said later! But also, make sure you have your launch options on steam aswell. =)
