NVGs disappeared

I went to the NW Airfield today and camped out in the barracks for awhile and found some NVGs. The server I was on was day so I switched to go to a night server to play with them. When I logged back on the night server they were missing from my inventory. I went back to the day server and everything was there as I left it (I had a big pile of loot in the bathroom) but the NVGs were missing from the ground where I picked them up too. I was so excited to have NVGs.

What happened to them? I thought maybe my character didnt save but the weird thing is when I logged back in I was exactly where I was where I logged out- not where I was before I picked the NVGs up.

Im very disappointed because this is the 2nd time ive found NVGs and lost them to a bug. The first time I had them I got to use them for about a hour before I went to sleep. The next day I logged in unconscious and bleeding with -1000 blood.
