Glitched Re-Spawn

My game is glitching I died and re-spawned after getting shot by another survivor but when I died it gave me a broken bone symbol and now if i try to re-spawn my character just collapses and the hour glass goes up and i can't do any thing. How can I fix this?

I seem to remember reading about a 5 minute 'shock' timer.

Could be that.

Have you waited for the hour glass to count down?
