No default gear on respawn

Ok had this problem where I logged off up North, came back on hours later and found myself on the beach with no gear, not even default gear to be exact.

I'm over the tantrum of losing some hard earned gear, NV goggles, map, yada yada. So now I just want to start all over as if I never played the game before with the default pack but no matter what server I log on to I'm pretty much without any sort of protection or is this something new that came with the latest update? I know they took away the pistol on first spawn in but now you get no pack as well?

I'm thinking that just re-installing dayz files isn't going to do it for me...

I like to play night time and can pretty much set gamma and contrast up to see enough to get by so if I'm shooting in the dark with this to at least have the default pack again and start my chacharacterer?

Its a glitch,

You usually start with Patrol backpack, Bandage, Painkillers and a Flashlight,

But, since your character have been hit by a glitch in the system, your character is empty and left alone with Nuting :)

Your debug moniter is the same, cuz you havent died.. :)

Start over mate , the only thing you can do

This has happened to me before, too. The last time I retained my backpack, although it did not have any items inside.

This happened to me this morning, logging into US 659, before I get ingame I get the "Faust has died" message, after that I load in, and I'm in the debug hills with nothing but my ghillie suit. I change servers and I end up spawned by Solinichny without my L85A2 AWS, 2xNVG, Rangefinder, full tool belt, Coyote BP w/ AS50, 3xm107mags, 6 stanag, food/med supplies. This is the second time this has happened, but this time I lost a bit more than the first time, fortunetly we just set up a camp and found a extra L85 at a crash site the previous day, so at least I have my favorite rifle back, NVG, and RangeFinder, AS50's are a dime a dozen, but all that other stuff like the backpack and GPS ARRGGGGGGGGGGGG

Its frustrating to lose items but even worse when you want to just start over and not have even the default items. I am a noob right now and didn't realize or just didn't take into consideration to get killed and respawn with the default pack. I was just really hoping for a miracle that I would continue to log back in and all my stuff would magically be there. All is normal now and I decided to just play the game for what it is and not get so caught up the equipment so that way if this happens again I won't have that feeling like I want to jump out a window.

all you get is a bandage and flashlight. Just check a market, it will have pretty much anything you should need, you can get a backpack in about 5 minutes if you know where to look.
