Chernarus Ironman Challenge

Ok, here is is: THE FIRST ANNUAL CHERNARUS IRONMAN CHALLENGE

What you do:

Gather a group of players. Gear up with whatever you want from your tent stash, from the NWAF, or from the cold dead hands of your last opponent.

Head to the two bridges east of Kamenka. Prepare yourself.

Log on to a full or near full pop server. No less than 30 players ideally.

Now travel the entire length of the coast, first east, then north, finishing at Guba. Stay by the coast. Approx 150 meters max distance back from the water. See if you can make it alive. Fraps and upload to YouTube.

Rules

If you kill a player, you can loot them (permissible to move more than 150m) from coast to achieve this.

If you find a vehicle, you can use it.

You can leave the coast to visit close by loot spots, e.g. Balota, electro and cherno fire houses, etc. once finished looting, return to the coast.

Min group size is 2. No max group size.

Will anyone accept this challenge? Successful completion of the challenge will earn you MY BEANS!

how is this an ironman challenge? Go do it with whatever gear you have with as many bros as you can gather?

A real one would be on a high population server do that exact same course alone with only a crowbar to defend yourself. Then after doing the cost you must cross the map on both diagonals.

nah ironman would be bike swim and something else.

but i think maybe theres something to this. In essence a server event that would bring a piece of the community together? Or are you talking in a metagame personal sense where there would be no player interaction?

I am thinking meta game style. There was something called the Eli wallach hunting challenge in the red dead redemption community, this is similar.

Mostly, I just wanna know if it can be done. I figure the odds are against any team. I am gonna try it myself, if I can convince so e people to do it with me...

For this to really count as an ironman contest, I'd say fly solo. Getting a team for the distance doesn't make sense. But besides that, I love the idea!

Expected Date of Attempt: 21 Sept 2012 (happy birthday to me) On hold (unfortunately) due to increasing work and school loads.

Start: West of Kamenka

End: When I die, be it Olsha Mountain or along the way.

Mode of Transportation: By foot ONLY!!

Goal: See how many zeds I can get following me by the time I reach Olsha Mountain (or I die, whichever comes first)

Other information: I'll be looting for food and drink along the way, no sidearm, no primary firearm, no defense method other than just running. Will be looking for someone with a helo and video recording software so I can see the madness from someone else's perspective afterwards.

Oh shit! It's OhShitSarge! This is a cool challenge, and this is a little off topic. I have a funny story about you. Once I was driving along the road to Mogilevka I think it was, and I saw a tractor that had slammed into a tree and exploded, and a body next to it. That body was you.
