maddyn99 (DayZ) 25 Posted September 3, 2012 Are there any tools out there that can be used via FTP or from my local machine that can help me detect hackers on my hosted server?I tried this....http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/39628-dayz-server-suite-alpha-103/but it seems to be for dedicated severs only. The best thing I have found so far has been cheat finder, but I am not even sure its working correctly. Gogster (DayZ) 626 Posted September 3, 2012 Unfortunately, and apologies to disorder, I've stopped using Cheat Finder. I find, now that I have Dwarden's recommended server files, parsing the remoteexec and createvehicle log is much simpler with Notepad++.
Torndeco (DayZ) 46 Posted September 3, 2012 Basicly if u use the filters @ http://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/source/browse/#git%2FfiltersThen its alot easier just to look at the text file for cheaters.Recommend also u should sign up @ http://dayz.io/adminZ//One of the main advantages of the forum is asking fellow admins about logs entries.
