The crossbow and how useless it is

the crossbow is seen as a weapon no one wants to use and it annoys me it is underused and i would love to see more people use it, i think it would make the game more interesting.i think that the reason people wont use it as the bolts take up alot of space in the inventory even though the bolts are so common. i think a quiver should be added to the game which would make the crossbow appear as a option. the quiver should be as common as the crossbow is and it works like a separate back pack. i think this should be added in standalone as it would be hard to add in with the mod. i hope you guys like my idea

So you are suggesting something that rocket said he was already going to add? Also you only need 2-3 bolts since you can get them back after you kill with them. Crossbow is a GREAT weapon and the reason you don't see people using it is because it is a pve weapon. Not a pvp. Its a weapon that usually you will see people carry in their bags so when they want to sneak into a town and grab some loot they can do it silently.

And as said rocket said he was going to add quivers. That is old news.

sorry had no clue he said he was going to add but it will make them much better. i use the crossbow i think its great

yeh, rocket said he'll add a quiver, didn't specify how exactly will it work but there will be one, and then even I might switch to xbow.

I like the crossbow for killing zombies, but yes, I think one space in your inventory should allow for at least 3 bolts. I also wish retrieving bolts was a little easier. I like the fact that you have to meticulously pick them off the bodies, but you can't move bodies so it's impossible if the zombie is laying on the bolt.

But one big gripe I have with the crossbow is it's incredibly difficult to aim if you don't have crosshairs because I can't determine if the bolts have an arc or how fast they're moving. That may have a little bit to do with me running the game at 800x600 too, but does anyone else feel that way?
