Stalking Prey

I am new to DayZ and new to the Bandit clan!

This weekend I finally got the game installed, and started playing. Took me about 6 and a half hours on a 100 person server to find enough gear to fend for myself. I now have a Pistol, Sniper rifle, Axe, and a "ton" of survival gear.

I have a camp set up besides two of the smaller towns/cities, and I have started to stalk my prey...

I don't know what about stalking people in this game makes the kill feel that much better however for myself I don't think I could just rush out and kill em.

So today I, stalking this group of two (A real girl and guy team - could hear them over voice chat) they worked well as a team taking their time moving from cover to cover house to house, well I watched from the tree lines a about 200-300 feet away. I swear to god a few times they stopped and seemed to be looking towards my general direction... (maybe thinking some friendly was watching them maybe going to show him self and join there team.

I knew they where starting to get a little bit more worried as they started to get careless and started running away getting the attention of zombies and are forced to run out of the town at this point and time I said to myself I needed to take the shot or they would be to hard to kill and I would miss my chance.

The first shot was a miss but the second was a hit and I took out the girl, the guy stopped and was soon getting hit by zombies I just put him out of his misery.

All the time not knowing I was being stalked my self as I turned to return to my camp in the woods it was fast and clean, a shot to the head and it was all done.

SOOOOO that's my first DayZ weekend and I am so, so, addicted.

Really Thank you DayZ... Any one else stalk their prey and have some stories
