Hackers and what they can do?

HI, yesterday me and my friends were playing on a server. About 2min before a hacker connected me and my friend disconnected(one was still playing). The hacker threw everyone in the air and most ef them died. The server also had a restart about 30 minutes before. everything was fine, we went to our tent by car. disconnected safely. and then 2 min later the hacker occured.

But before the server thrown in the air, my other friend who was riding a motorbike just died as if he was in debug zone all of a sudden.

Now when i log on, our car is gone too and so are our tents. But there is no left overs of the tent, no crushed tent thing.

Is it possible a hacker can teleport tents and vehicles too? or just erase them all?

They can, tho I think they cant destroy tents atm cuz they are buggy (maybe back at restart)

Your tents will be back next server restart, vehicle maybe back at its original spawnpoint.

It sounds more to me like that was a bad server restart. There's a chance your tents will reappear next time the server restarts. This should be fixed in the upcoming patch.

Exactly. Just as in EVERY other patch released since early May, there is also a chance that this will finally be fixed with the next one. Don't hold your breath for this fix...

Yes but we were there when it restarted, and everything was fine after that restart. But indeed i checked server monitor, and it had another restart 4 hours after the one we got trough on the server.

So lets hope it will be back :)

Well you said that the tents randomly not spawning after server restart should be fixed in the upcoming patch. Since there are no patch notes for 1.7.3 I'm just wondering what you are basing your statement on. It sounded like conjecture to me, but if this is seriously in the patch, we are all ears...
