everywhere i go no matter where i spawn in at, including the middle of the forest, i run to a town or city (recently berezino) and i get 0 loot spawns. is there something i can do?

Experienced the same in Berezino on a private server, it's the server lagging i've been told. And indeed, waiting some minutes fixed it and I found lots of loot and zombies.

Also seem to be true if you are aproaching settlements fast with a vehicle.

Usually happens in server that needs to be restarted.

This can happen for a variety of reasons.

One, there is code that tracks your interaction with loot on previous servers (live hive servers only) and makes you wait when you go to another server.

Two, the server is lagging and/or the hive as well.

Three, there is a script kiddie in the area. When this happens, you will usually see loot and zombies alike disappear right in front of you, among other things.
