problem: join any server and get kicked at the player selection screen

msg's from kick:"you were kicked" nonthing else.

@hive is grayed out

tools i tried: dayz commander <you would think its fool proof>, six-launcher. six-updater, playwith six

question: am i banned or my game broken?

notes: only got into 3 servers befor. 1st time i had crashed out. months later finaly got in another server everyone was spawning in 1 spot and getting killed by an ai with a gun so i left cause no1 would tell me what was happening. then i finaly got into another server found no1 walked for about an hour got killed about 3 times finaly found were ppl were and i think the server reset or i crashed i forget.

just tried. i got in a random server no one in it would say the server ver.'s so i could report back. i don't know if its a regisered server cause i was at the bottom of the list.

The server is rented from Vilayer and is connected to the official hive. There's nothing wrong with the server.

I can see that you connected and everything seemed fine. And after a while I can see that you disconnected. No weird messages or anything.

I would say that there's something wrong with your installation of DayZ or Arma 2 beta.

Tried installing it from scratch manually?

Also, if you're behind a router. Have you opened all the required ports for the game?

no i have not open any ports or tried manual install. i will try some of that. thanks for the help.

i guess i need this thread moved if im not banned.

tried manual install. removed dayz alltogether. and reinstalled it. reinstalled the beta. a few other things. reinstall with dayz commander. im lost. absolutely lost.

and i am the man with all the PC answers!!

dear god if i need to reinstall the game with steam i'll i'll just roll and round in the biohazerd dumpster at the nearest research plant and just play "project zombies" insead.

steps to fix kicked without resone. for steam users. note works forother mods and normal game fix also.

(note: a good 3mbs or 30mbps takes 2-3 hours to DL and install botharma2 and AO onsteam.)

1. move all your mod folders to another folder. name it something you will remembers. (note: not on the desktop.)

2. then delete only the arma 2 and arma 2:AO folders. LEAVE the profiles in the documents folder alone to save them.

3 uninstall them normaly. after the manual deletion.

4. reboot, then install with steam.

5. move mod folders back.

6. play game. (note: don't forget to enjoy the game :)
