frost642 5 Posted September 2, 2012 Everyone inside who died should be added to your murder count :(I was about to log off for the night when I heard a faint sound in the distance."Is that....no....it can't be....."10 seconds later, a helicopter flies directly over my head.Thankfully I was in a forest at the south end of the NWAF, so I ready my AS50, load the prized NATO rounds in it and watch while they decide their next course of action. Roughly 2 minutes later, after circling the air field a few times they decide to come to a hover at the southern most hanger.Rangefinder: 398 metersPerfect.I decide to leave nothing to chance and forego aiming at the cockpit (I missed someone at 100 yards earlier today because I was zeroed for 800:( ) and go straight for the main rotor. First shot, dead on, and while I know mathematically 1 round will do the trick, I put a second one into it just to make sure. For those that haven't had the pleasure, helicopters look quite impressive as they faceplant into the ground, exploding and killing all of its occupants. Death messages gallore, explosions gallore, zombies...OH GOD HOLY SHIT ZOMBIES. From what I could gather, there was 4 players inside of it, and they were in the area long enough to spawn more than 20 zombies, which all decided to investigate the helicopter. OK fine, I didn't really want to get near it anyway. The smoke plume was quite impressive, as it attracted a player wielding a MK48. I almost didn't see him since I was watching the zombie horde stumbling around the wreckage, as was he. I had crawled nearly 100 meters closer by this point, so using my AS50 to drop him wasn't the greatest idea in the world. Pull out my L85, zero for 100, centre of mass. His beans are now my beans. So if you want to go look for a couple bodies that may or may not have been stripped by other players yet, head over to US 2737 NWAF, last bunker with the smoldering helicopter next to it :)
