Rai (DayZ)

Would be grateful if somebody helped :/

Recommended Posts

I bought Arma 2 combined operations couple days ago, did everything downloaded DayZ but, due to freezing every 3-5 seconds i can't play :/. It freezes on singleplayer arma too. Only the frame freezes not the sound. I mean you can still hear background sounds like birds, weather effects. But it also freezes on menu.

Here is my system:

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120503-2030)

System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

System Model: P35-S3G

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8200 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.7GHz

Memory: 8192MB RAM

Available OS Memory: 8190MB RAM

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250(driver updated)

Manufacturer: NVIDIA

Chip type: GeForce GTS 250

DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC

Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0615&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A2

Display Memory: 4069 MB

Dedicated Memory: 997 MB

Shared Memory: 3071 MB

Current Mode: 1680 x 1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)

My processor is really old. I thought that could cause the freezing, but i couldn't be sure. So i would be grateful if you help :)

Im sure you have tried it, but turning down the graphics? the view distance can be killer on a pc if you have it set high

I run the game well with a AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+ 3.2 GHz

ATI Radeon HD 4800 series graphics card

4 gigs of ram

my processer is almost as old as yours.

Wish i new more and could be of more help.

Might want to try some Arma2 forums or Bohemia Interactive forums/tech support
