Everything is completely dark

Hello.

I have recently gotten my DayZ mod to work, i were finally able to connect, the problem was, everything was completely dark. I could literally not see a thing, i tried raising the gamma and light to max, didnt change a thing.

Then i saw a flare, around the flare it wasn't dark at all, it was nighttime in the game but is it really supposed to be completely dark?

I don't know if it's a problem with my game, i haven't been able to launch the game in combined operations, but as i used Six Updater, it got into the game.

I hope this problem can be fixed easily!

It is suppose to be that way, Ive tried all day to get Day-Z to work and when I finally was able to connect I connected to a dark server, so I guess you try out diffrent servers in diffrent timezones to get one with daylight.

yes, the nights are completely dark if the moon is not out (behind horizon or clouds) since there is no light pollution
