Jujamunnz 0 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) EDIT Can't play at the same timeWe both have the game and each bought arma II so we have 2 copies of that. But if i try to join the server while he is playing we both get kicked off. I have other brothers in the same household that can play with me, but the newest one to the game cant. Could it possibly be due to his new pc running an internet connection out of my motherboard?? the other pcs in the house run through the router like mine and they work fine. Thanks any help is appreciated Edited September 1, 2012 by Jujamunnz
thequiet 4 Posted September 1, 2012 If you guys are sharing internet from the same NIC, then yes. DayZ doesn't allow the same IP per server to avoid things like people playing for free and such. I believe that's actually an Arma thing. Either way, that's your answer. He needs his own IP address, meaning his own connection to his own NIC.NIC = Network Interface Card

thequiet 4 Posted September 1, 2012 Yeah, basically. As long as you guys aren't sharing the same one.You should be able to check by going to whatismyip.com. You both should have different ones.
