Okay so here's the deal. I have regular Arma II on steam, and Operation Arrowhead on Greenmangaming (Its like a steam, it was on sale cheaper than steam)

Will DayZ work with Arma II being on steam and OA being on Capsule (Greenmangaming)?

I think you can make it work somehow but I don't think you will be able to play thru Steam...

Try to put both games into the same folder* (better to install them into the same folder), and then install the beta patch and run the game with the beta patch shortcut.

*I don't know how it works on Steam and I never heard of Greenmangaming so i don't know what goes on there...

Do it on your own risk...

Okay, I mean it's gotta be the same thing as someone buying a boxed version of Arma II, then buying OA on Steam, and getting it to work. Ill mess with some stuff when its done downloading, hopefully it goes well.

It doesn't matter where you get the files. Once you have everything installed you should be good to go.
