Community Banlist/scripts.txt

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

So today I've updated my script.txt/remoteexec.txt/createvehicle.txt

Now everyone who tried to join the server gets kicked for "Script restriction #41".

I've changed the "openmap" 5 to a 1 to stop kicks for that, I've also tried renaming the scripts_old.txt to scripts.txt again changed the openmap to a 1 (log instead of kick) but its not working, all players connecting including me get kicked for either a Script Restriction #41 or a Script Restriction #90.

The new files came from this link:

http://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/source/browse/filters#filters

Anyone having this issue or is it just me? Also anyone have any idea's for fixing it?

Thanks

After u updated the files did u either

log into server via rcon afterwards and issue the console commands

loadscripts
loadevents

Or did u restart the server ?

Reupload the files again, restart the server & u should be good. There is no need to edit the files anymore, they will work off the bat

edit:- If that doesnt work

update battleye manually,

if u dont have access either file a support ticket with your host provider.

or if u are able to reinstall dayz on the server i.e

on hfb/vilayer downgrade to 1.2.7.4

& then upgrade back to 1.2.7.5 & upload the files again

& battleye should update itself again by itself

Yeah I restarted the server as soon as I'd applied the files, in fact I took the server offline to upload them then started it again.

I'll take a look at it again later today, currently I've renamed the new scripts.txt as scripts_new.txt and left the old file there so I can use it if required, all working fine at the moment and the server is populating the scrits.log file.

Thanks for your reply :)
