Publik 404 Posted June 11, 2012 Has nothing to do with DayZ -> Off-Topic pls...This. Also, it feels kind of like an advertisement. No "hey I want to compose for DayZ here's my crap" or whatever, just "hey, listen to my stuff and buy it maybe".Most of it was... Dunno the word, muddy? Not in a bad way, but overall if had sort of a buzz on the bass parts. Guess it's a stylistic thing. There was a lot of variance as well. 7/10, not my kind of music per-se, but it wasn't bad. zeblazed 0 Posted June 11, 2012 Didn't know the gallery was specifically for DayZ. Doesn't state that anywhere. Says Post Your photos and videos here. Which I did.@Publik I'd love to compose some tracks for DayZ if given the chance. Thanks for the kind words. To each their own.
Publik 404 Posted June 11, 2012 @Publik I'd love to compose some tracks for DayZ if given the chance. Thanks for the kind words. To each their own.Yeah' date=' music looks to be one of the easiest assets to get in-game. Take that first track, I Got It Back, and drop most of the bass/effects. Take the strings and piano sections by themselves and slow it down/make it a bit quieter. DayZ had a more ambient type [s']soundtrack music selection.Same goes for Catastrophe Awaits. Drop the guitar(?) and the drums in the background. Something slower and more ambient :D
frankhertz 2 Posted June 11, 2012 Its called DayZ Gallery.
zeblazed 0 Posted June 11, 2012 I agree sure if I where to do a new track it would be entirely ambient and fitting. Use of a lot of strings. Love the tension they create so it would be fitting to the scene.
anthonyat33@gmail.com 6 Posted June 11, 2012 Brilliant tunes, most of them seem fitting for a zombie apocalypse mod.I see no wrong with him posting it in here.1. It's art (Gallery)2. Some songs have that tense zombie feel, don't you think?Keep up the great work. :)
