I have been playing DayZ since its early release and am really enjoying the game even tho it is riddled with bugs and wacky AI. The game is still in its Alpha so I expect random shit to happen but this morning I had my self a propper facepalm momemt.

Yesterday I had the day off and figured I would play some DayZ. Logged into a quite server, played for a few hours, nabbed me some nice loot including rare things at a helicopter spawn and logged out for the night. Today I wanted to continue because I was close to the nothern airfield and wanted to do a morning raid. I found a server but upon loading in I found that my screen was glitchy and that my grafics were bugging the fuck out so I dropped from the server and picked a diffrent one. This time upon loading in it made me choose my gender and I was like wtf? I alt tabbed out of game and closed it before I choose one. This is where I got worried but still no fucks were given. Third server I loaded upon I was suddenly at the beach, with no items what so ever, not even a bag. My debug monitor was still correct (zombies killed/health etc). But everything els was just wrong. Everything in the red and not a single item on me.

I loaded upon several diffrent servers after that but I never got my items back. Am I fucked and should I respawn or is there still a way for me to salvage my gear? Also what the fuck did I do wrong other then playing a alpha game based on the Arma moddel that made me loose my shit and bug the fuck out?

It's a pretty common bug now. Kill yourself. Also, there will be a corpse where you originally were, and it will have all of your loot.

So find a empty server, head to a place desolate, respawn and pray I am at my corpse before someone els is? I can do that, Thanks.

Although I am thinking of just giving up on the alpha and wait till the stand alone game comes out. It was fun but I grow tired having to restart because the game fucks up.
