What are the maximum capacities of tents + vehicles?

Hey guys,

I was just placing some guns in my tent earlier when i realised that they were disappearing. I read up on the internet what the maximum number of tent slots there are, and it said 53. Alright. However, when i went back in game, i counted the amount of slots the gear and guns in my tent would have taken up, and it was well over 53 (i had 6 guns with a lot more other gear, which definitely amounts to over 60 slots).

This concerns me, as it seems that the Wiki is wrong on this point, and i still don't know the true number of slots in my tent.

If anyone knows the true amount of slots available in tents (and vehicles if you know), please could you tell me?

Gunslots are different to Item-Slots (The offroad for example has 10 Gunslots + 60 Itemslots + 2 Backpackslots)

afaik Tools(like matchbox, nvg etc) count as weapons too, so take care

From the wiki:

A tent can hold a fixed amount of each item-type, within the item-type each item counts as one (unlike in the Inventorysystem).

A tent can hold up to five backpacks, ten weapons & tools and fifty general items. For example one tent can hold five binoculars, five M4A1s, forty STANAG mags, ten engine parts and five backpacks at the same time.

Tents (as of 1.7.1.5) can have 53 item slots inside. (excluding firearms)

Inventory slots and weapon slots aren't the same thing. You can put 53 cans of beans in a tent and an additional number of weapons.

Ok, so atm tents can hold 5 backpacks, 10 weapons/tools, and 50 general items?

Magazines count as general right?

Ok sorry to continue this thread, but i checked my tent and i only seem to have 6 weapons/tools, yet my guns still disappear when i try putting them in. Does sidearm ammo count as weapons/tools? Because i do have a total of 4 sidearm ammo in there aswell. I ask only about sidearm ammo, not main ammo, because i have a ton of main ammo in there, well over 10.

Will explain using the above image.

The Primary, Sidearm, Optics and Tool Slots - You can have a mixture of 10 of these, so if you have 6 guns, then you must have 4 tools too.

General, Sidearm Ammo/Bandages - 50 of these.

Backpack - 5 of these.
