Jerry cans cant be refilled?

Every time i go to a pump the ones by the barns or even the gas station ones nothing comes up. the jerry cans arent like water where if u right click it says "fill water" jerry cans dont say anything pls helpm

You have to go to a Gas tank. It's white and looks like a giant propane tank. Here is a picture showing where they are.

Nope still doesnt work. The option to refill doesnt even come up.

The two objects I know for sure you can refill at, at the long and tall white tanks with a green stripe on them, or the rusty looking tank the same size as the other tank. You use the scroll wheel action to refill, it's not a gear menu item like food/water/etc. I know it works 100% at the right fuel tanks, I've refilled the cans over 40 times.
